Many college textbooks are available in alternative formats for students with print-based disabilities.
Students who are registered with Disability Services and have a documented need for printed material to be reproduced in an alternate format for one of Niagara College’s courses can make an alternate format request.
This service is optional, and is used for required textbooks or reader packages related to a student’s current academic course work. Some textbooks are available electronically so that a computer program can read the book to you. These are referred to as electronic text, E-text or E-books.
Submit an alternative format textbook request
You must purchase a physical copy of the textbook in order to receive a copy in an alternative format. A receipt for your purchase will be required. This is a copyright requirement.
