Pre-Admission Test Accommodations

Students with disabilities who apply to a Niagara College program requiring a Pre-Admission Test can receive assistance and support.

Note: Not all programs require a Pre-Admission Test.

  1. When your College application is processed you will be invited to register to write your Pre-Admission Test (if required). At the end of the Registration Form you will be asked to indicate if you have a disability.
  2. If “Yes”, you will need to fill out an Accommodation Request Form.
  3. You will need to provide appropriate documentation that supports your request as soon as possible (at least 7 days prior to the test). For example, a recent IEP or IPRC stating that you have a disability (learning, physical etc.), a medical or psychological report, a note or letter by specialists or other professionals such as speech pathologist, hearing specialist, optometrist etc. identifying your condition and needs. If you are unsure of the appropriateness of your information or need clarification before requesting documentation, please call us: Welland Campus 111-111-1111 extension 7778, Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus 111-641-1152 extension 4409.
  4. After we receive your documentation, you will receive a confirmation email from our office, and the details of the accommodation(s) to be provided for the test. If you do not receive communication from Accessibility Services at least 7 days prior to your test, call us immediately.
