More than 700 business community and educational leaders will attend the 25th annual Niagara College Foundation Seafood Gala April 5 at the Fallsview Casino Resort.
The sold-out gala is Niagara College’s premier fundraising event with more than $2 million raised in support of students over its 25-year history. Each year the Seafood Gala raises funds for equipment and learning resources and scholarships and bursaries that support student success.
“There’s extra excitement around this year’s event as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Seafood Gala” said Sean Kennedy vice president student and external relations and CEO of the Niagara College Foundation. “The ongoing support we receive through the Seafood Gala is truly remarkable and plays a very significant part in the ongoing satisfaction and success of our students.”
The Gala will include a spectacular seafood buffet live and silent auctions with packages valued at more than $111000 and live entertainment provided by Elton Lammie Joey Denbenedetto Carlyn Connolly Ian Middleton Parkside Drive and surprise guest artists.
Bob Jackson CEO of Vintage Hotels and secretary of the Niagara College Foundation Board of Directors served as the Gala chair.
