Counselling Services and Accessibility Services offer a series of workshops during the Fall and Winter terms to help students make the most of their busy time at Niagara College.
Previous workshop topics have included:

- SafeTalk – a special suicide-prevention seminar

Learn about Mental Health
Mental health concerns all of us. Just as a physically healthy person can develop a physical illness, a mentally healthy person under various degrees of stress can develop a mental illness. It is important to recognize that mental wellness and illness are part of an ever-changing and dynamic continuum in everyone’s life. When we, or someone we know, is unable to enjoy life or deal with everyday challenges, help may be needed.

More Feet on the Ground is a bilingual educational website designed for college faculty and staff, residence advisors, student representatives and peer mentors to develop their awareness about mental health and mental illness. It is also a resource and reference for professional staff who work directly with students within the Student Success Centres.
