You will examine the components and uses of a DSLR camera. The course will cover the specific applications of a variety of lenses, the hot shoe flash and tripod. You will develop proficiency in the use and application of manual and semi-manual camera modes, and metering methods. You will also analyze the impact that f-stops, shutter speeds, depth-of-field and colour theory have on photographic images.
