  1. Is there a Co-op?
    Yes there is and we work with you in your first semester to develop an action plan.
  2. What are the job opportunities upon graduation?
    This a business based program so employment is typically found in management, sales and marketing positions. The Tourism industry prides itself on hiring managers you have frontline experience so use your coop to acquire this know-how.
  3. How will the classes be taught?
    We use a combination of lectures, seminars, field trips and online classes. Be prepared to work on team projects.
  4. Will we be able to interact with the Tourism leaders?
    Yes, from industry based projects to the international trip/cruise to regular guest speakers to class.
  5. Can I go on to University after I graduate?
    Yes, there are articulation agreements with several post secondary institutions. Visit for more information.

Riding the Waves to Success

Amanda Newhouse doesn’t mind working seven days a week all summer long. At her ‘office’ on the sparkling shores of Sugarloaf Harbour Marina in Port Colborne, this recent Niagara College grad embraces the opportunity to live her dreams every day.

The long-time watersports enthusiast and instructor is now the general manager of Niagara’s new wakeboarding hotspot, Boarder Pass Niagara. It’s the second location of its kind in Ontario that offers a wakeboarding system that uses cables, rather than boats, to pull ‘boarders’ – beginners and advanced alike – through the course.
