- Students must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
- Students must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English and a foreign language.
Trained language interpreters usually work as self-employed contractors who offer their services on a part time basis in various setting including health care, social services and the legal system.
In cooperation with the office of INCommunities (Interpreters Niagara-Hamilton program), trained interpreters have an opportunity for employment in the Niagara Region.

How to Register
Students do not apply to our part-time programs. Instead, enrol in and successfully complete each course listed in the Program Delivery section. Once you have successfully completed all of the required courses, you may apply to graduate. If you aren't sure how to enrol in a course, you can learn more here.
