Get Involved Week

Get Involved Week is now over. Thanks to all those who participated!

The Centre for Student Engagement & Leadership and Career Services are very excited to host the 4th annual Get Involved Week running October 2nd to 6th 2017 at Niagara College.

Get Involved Week is the ultimate opportunity to showcase the many ways in which a student can get involved on and off campus in addition to learning about the benefits. Students will be able to network with organizations from services on-campus as well as from the Niagara community.

Would your organization like to set up a booth at our Off Campus Fairs?

Registration for organizations to participate at the off campus fairs is OPEN for this year’s Get Involved WEEK!

If your organization is interested in setting up a booth at our Off Campus Volunteer Fairs please at either or both Off Campus Fairs!

  • On Campus: Volunteer Fairs are for students to come and speak with various departments, services and co-curricular programs on campus, such as Peer Mentoring, LEAD, Sustainability etc. and learn how they can get involved on campus! Don’t forget to visit the Get Involved – Co-Curricular Record table to learn which opportunities can be included on your CCR! (Monday and Friday)
  • Off Campus: Volunteer Fairs give students the opportunity to meet and speak with numerous community partners from the Niagara Region about volunteering with their organization, and help gain you hands-on experience related to your field of study! (Tuesday and Thursday)

What’s the Time Raiser event?

This event is a unique way for organizations that need volunteers to showcase their specific volunteer opportunities to NC students. The event will have exciting prizes linked to volunteer positions from different organizations set up as a silent auction, where students bid their time instead of money!

For more information contact Sarah Singleton at [email protected].

Hope to see everyone there!
