The Government of Ontario, in partnership with the province’s colleges and universities, deliver the Student Access Guarantee. The Student Access Guarantee ensures post-secondary students in financial need have access to resources to cover the cost of their tuition, books and other mandatory fees.
Niagara College provides financial assistance to post-secondary students in financial need through, bursaries, scholarships, and work study programs
To be eligible, students must apply for and receive assistance through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and also meet the following criteria:
- Students officially enrolled full time in a program of study at the college.
- An Ontario student who is academically qualified according to the institution’s requirements for a particular program.
- Students who withdraw or reduce their course load should consult with Financial Aid Office to discuss their continued eligibility
- College scholarships, bursaries and/or award you receive will be deducted from your Student Access Guarantee funding.
Note: OSAP recipients will automatically be considered for the bursary, no application is required. Bursary amounts vary depending upon your OSAP assessment.
